Second Year Anniversary – Thank You

Having just completed our second year we thank our clients and friends for their tremendous support.


M&A activity has been substantial over the past 12 months with Hamilton Rich advising on multiple transactions.

We are currently assisting in the sale of 2 medium sized (turnover $8m- $30m) businesses including a cross border de merger and contemporaneous sale.

We speak our mind even when it is against our own short term interest. In the last month alone we have successfully advised two clients against proceeding with transactions, that (while they would have entailed attractive fees for us) we felt were not in our clients’ best interests.

Executive Search

Executive Search has blossomed, particularly with CFO, CTO and CEO roles.

We have found a ‘try before you buy’ approach very popular. We put senior executives into businesses on a fixed term assignment enabling clients to assess “on the job performance” and “cultural fit”. Satisfied clients have then converted these executives to permanent roles including one to the CEO position.

Greg Rich, our founder, continues to work with us on Executive Search assignments, recently completing a Funds Management CEO placement.

A unique benefit we provide is through our Executive Search activities providing a ready pool of top quality talent always available to supplement M&A clients management teams.
One current business sale client has benefited through contracting an experienced public company CFO during the due diligence process. Another recent client, who considered selling their business due to the pressures and restrictions of excessive owner reliance, was instead liberated by targeted recruitment by us.
